Children’s BookFest Midhurst 2026

We were delighted to be able to bring the BookFest to two schools in Midhurst this year!

We’re always trying to include more children in our BookFest programme and for 2026 we were delighted to be able to go to two primary schools in the Midhurst area; Easebourne Primary and Midhurst Primary.

Easebourne School welcomed Michaela Morgan, author of various poetry collections and marvellous ideas, and Midhurst were treated to AF Harrold and his boisterous beard.

Thanks to the generosity of local grants and trusts, as well as out usual fundraising activities, for the first time we could include all the children in the Reception classes as well. So across the two schools, 393 children received a personally dedicated copy of their very own book and a whole heap of inspiration.

The teachers, volunteers, authors and children all came together to make sure the BookFest day was one to remember and we love them for it!
