Festival of Chichester Events 2025

Our events for children and adults are an important part of our fundraising activity but they’re also brilliant for inspiring our audiences and our team - a living, breathing demonstration of the power that story has to connect us to ourselves and each other.

This year we’ve gone all-out to bring some of the UK’s favourite authors to Chichester, and we’re working with the Festival of Chichester and the Cathedral to make sure as many people as possible can join in the fun.

First-up, for grown-ups, we have The Rev. Richard Coles in conversation with Colin Heber-Percy about Richard’s latest novel, Murder on Location.

  • Tuesday 15th July

  • Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start

  • Tickets £17 in advance or £20 on the door

Then that weekend, we have an exciting duel between top author/illustrators, Sophy Henn and Nick Sharratt.

  • Saturday 19th July

  • Doors open 10am for a 10.30am start

  • Tickets £10

And then later that same day, the marvellous Joseph Elliott will be coming to the Cathedral for a brilliant family-friendly afternoon of Nora-based nonsense!

  • Saturday 19th July

  • 2pm start

  • Tickets £7

And you might think that, with our Schools BookFest coming up in October, that would be that for public events in 2025 - but no! We have three more fabulous events coming up in the Autumn, so keep checking our website and socials for all the details and exciting announcements.
